19^TH CENTURY BURMESE MONK

Monk statues are fairly common.  Therefore we only purchase ones that are particularly nice or unusual, like the bronze monks we also have for sale.  What we liked so much about this monk is the wonderful way in which it had been worn smooth by time and the elements; but particularly the way that the wood grain flows perfectly through the figure.  10 3/4 inches high.
