QING DYNASTY TABLE SCREEN
One of the earliest objects that I bought when I first started collecting Asian antiques, before I became a dealer. Made of carved rosewood, with a dreamstone of Dali marble. 19.5 inches tall, 13 inches wide. The screen lifts off the stand. This is a one sided screen, meant to face outward from a wall. These screens are both decorative and act as a point of contemplation. I think this is a particularly nice stone, which spurs the imagination.
