18TH C. BRONZE SHAN BUDDHA

This handsome, stylish buddha contains silver in the metal, which imparts a rich silvery gold color to the piece.  Extremely well formed, with slim lines and great detail.  This piece appears to have been continuously polished throughout its life, which has resulted in a patina which is not like a burial patina;  it is more like a rich burnished finish.  It is significantly larger than most of the similar pieces you see, at 17.5 inches tall. Condition is perfect.
