C. CHINESE POETRY PLAQUES

These decorative plaques contain a Chinese poem which I am unable to translate.  I was told it was a poem about nature, but that is all I know.  If someone reads Chinese, I would love them to write and give me a translation.  They are made of some hardwood in the rosewood family, probably hongmu, and the raised hand carved letters are in soapstone.  They make wonderful decorations on the wall or flanking a door or other object.    They stand about 3-4 feet high, and about nine inches wide. Terrific accent pieces.  $250
