MAGNIFICENT 19TH C. BURMESE BRONZE STUPA

This is a heavily cast bronze that probably was used in a temple.    It stands 21" high (53cm) and is a striking example of the genre.  I have seen them in dry lacquer, but not in bronze.  It is cast in two sections (see picture below).  There are traces of gilding, and detail is excellent.  I am unlikely to see another one, so take advantage of this opportunity.  It currently sits on a table in my apartment and looks fabulous.
